DARRYL MORRIS: I saw you shoot her in the neck with a tranquilizer dart. KYLE BRODY: (insists) She's fine. [Scene from 7X09: There's Something About Leo] [INT. MANOR - FOYER/FRONT DOOR -- DAY] (Darryl Morris talks with Phoebe.) DARRYL MORRIS: I can't find anything. It's like Sheridan's disappeared off the face of the earth. I think that maybe Brody did something to make Sheridan disappear. TRIQUETRA FLASH TO: [Scene from 7X09: There's Something About Leo] [EXT. ROOFTOP] (Paige and Kyle are having a romantic dinner on the roof.) PAIGE: Any other secrets I should know about you? KYLE BRODY: No. [Scene from 7X08: Charmed Noir] [INT. MANOR - ATTIC -- DAY] (Leo has just reversed time.) LEO: If you're gonna trust me, you're gonna come to it in your own time. PIPER: There may be hope for you yet. FADE OUT. END OF PREVIOUSLY ON FADE IN. [INT. PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO -- DAY] (The photographer reaches out and adjusts Wyatt's position as Wyatt tugs on his collar. He's dressed up in a nice blue shirt as are the rest of the family. Leo stands behind Wyatt, holding him steady in front of him. Piper sits down with Chris in her arms.) PHOTOGRAPHER: All right. Okay. How's this? Looks like a little angel. (The photographer turns and heads back to his camera. Piper glances back behind her at the backdrop.) PIPER: Uh ... yeah, now that you mention it, not so big on the whole up there-y look. Maybe we should try the brown again. (The photographer walks behind them and changes the backdrop. He turns and heads back to his camera again.) PHOTOGRAPHER: Okay, then. Let's do this. PIPER: Uh, you know what? It is kind of blah, huh? I like the Moroccan one. (The photographer looks at her. Leo leans forward to talk with Piper.) LEO: Uh, Piper, other people are waiting. PIPER: Yeah? Well, I've been waiting for years. Ever since Wyatt was born, I wanted a family portrait, and it's always one thing or another. He's going you- know-what, and you're going bonkers. (Leo looks at the photographer and chuckles.) LEO: (mutters) She exaggerates a little. PIPER: (continues) Now that I have everyone here, I'm not gonna be pressured into making any hasty decisions. LEO: (mutters) You know, at this point it wouldn't be. (He clears his throat and resumes his "photo" position.) PIPER: Look, can I help it if I just want it to be perfect? LEO: Piper, it's gonna be perfect no matter what the backdrop. (whispers) You look beautiful. (Piper knows when she's being sweet-talked to.) PHOTOGRAPHER: (louder) Okay, then. Let's do this. (She turns around and faces the camera again. The photographer takes his switch in his hand.) PHOTOGRAPHER: All righty, then. Here we go. (He holds up his left hand with a blue octopus hand puppet on it.) PHOTOGRAPHER: Happy Octopus! (On the side, the Avatars appear.) PHOTOGRAPHER: Everyone say cheese. (The photographer snaps the photo.) (And everything freezes ... except the Avatars.) (Leo steps away from his photo position and walks over to the Avatars. LEO: Yeah ... Guys, this really isn't a good time. BETA (AVATAR): We wouldn't have come, but this can't wait. LEO: Neither can this. GAMMA (AVATAR): It may be too late already. We've gotten word of something. BETA (AVATAR): Someone has information which could bring the sisters to us, help them to see the beauty of our way. LEO: Really? That's great. Are you sure? ALPHA (AVATAR): Yes. But she's under attack by demons, even as we speak. You must save her and bring her home so she can share what she knows. GAMMA (AVATAR): She may be our last, best chance at convincing the sisters. (Leo looks at Frozen Piper smiling.) LEO: This isn't gonna go over very well. (Leo goes back to his position behind Piper. He smiles. The Avatars vanish.) (Time resumes.) PHOTOGRAPHER: Good job. Nice smiles, everyone. LEO: Okay, got it. Great. (whispers to Piper) So, uh, I gotta go. PIPER: Uh, we get three poses. LEO: I know, but something's come up. PHOTOGRAPHER: Are we going to do this or what? (Piper stands up, turns and looks at Leo.) PIPER: It's the Elders, isn't it? What, we can't have a grace period? We can't have a normal family moment without them jingling? LEO: It's, uh, not always gonna be like this, Piper. PIPER: And what, is it like a dog whistle now? Only you can hear it? LEO: You have keys to the car, right? (Without answering her, Leo backs away and heads for the door. Leo leaves.) CUT TO: [INT. UNDERWORLD -- CAVERN] (A demon throws a fireball across the cavern as the cloaked figure dives behind the large stone. The fireball hits the stone and explodes.) DEMON: Try to see your way out of this one, traitor! (He laughs.) (Leo orbs in. He immediately vanquishes the demons. The final demon vanishes before Leo can vanquish him.) (Leo looks around. He walks around the large stone and reaches down.) (The woman turns over and pushes her hood back.) (It's The Seer.) LEO: This can't be right. (He reaches down and picks her up in his arms. She smiles at him.) THE SEER: Mmm. My hero. FADE TO END OF TEASER ROLL TITLE CREDITS (COMMERCIAL SET) FADE IN. [EXT. HALLIWELL MANOR (STOCK) - NIGHT] [INT. MANOR - ATTIC -- NIGHT] (Leo orbs the Seer into the attic. He puts her down.) SEER: Ahh. (She rubs her temple.) Ooh. I have got a lump that won't quit from one of those little snits. (sighs) Are you sure you can't heal a demon? LEO: Don't push it. I saved your life. SEER: Only 'cause the stuffed shirts made you. LEO: You know, I still don't understand why you didn't just shimmer out. (Leo takes his jacket and tie off.) SEER: And miss you coming to meet me? That would've been rude. Plus, I'm eager to make a deal with your bosses. So, why did the Elders send you, anyway? They know we had a thing? (The Seer unties her cloak and smiles at Leo. She winks teasingly at him.) (Leo rolls his sleeves up.) LEO: We didn't have a thing. SEER: Mmm. Trying to put that ugly past behind you. I get it. LEO: Look, don't waste your seeing powers on me, okay? SEER: Don't have to be a Seer to know that. So, is this where it all happens? (The Seer looks around the attic. She stops, her face lighting up as she sees the Book of Shadows on its stand.) SEER: Oh, my god. Don't tell me! That's- (She starts to head for the Book of Shadows. Leo stops her.) LEO: How about you tell me why your fellow demons are trying to kill you? SEER: The Elders didn't tell you? (She looks at Leo.) You know, you're hard to read. But that's okay. I like a challenge. LEO: Just answer the question. SEER: I'm selling them out for bigger and better things, and they're miffed. Not that they wouldn't do the same to me in a New York minute. LEO: All right. Well, I gotta fill Piper in. The sisters find you up here, they're gonna kill you. (Leo turns and heads for the door.) SEER: No, no. Actually, they won't. I've seen my death. No babes involved. LEO: All right, well, then they'll definitely kill me, so I need to break it to them gently. You ... stay here. (Leo leaves and closes the door behind him. She waits a beat, then turns around.) SEER: Okay. (The Seer giggles and runs over to the Book of Shadows, eager to look at it. As soon as she reaches for it, the Book glows, shuts, and flies off the bookstand. It lands on the floor at the other side of the room.) SEER: Damn! CUT TO: [INT. MANOR - KITCHEN -- NIGHT] (Piper examines her soufflé cooking in the oven.) PIPER: Don't make any loud noises. I have a soufflé in the oven, and you have done enough damage for one day. LEO: I'm sorry. I know it was-- PIPER: (interrupts) I don't know what I was expecting. I don't know why I thought it would be different. I don't know why I thought we could have a normal family when you're just a blur. LEO: Well, that's a little extreme, don't you think? It's not like I'm running away all the time. It was once. PIPER: No. No. I mean the picture. (Leo's brow furrows as Piper heads past him.) PIPER: Mm-hmm. (She reaches behind the counter and takes out the photo.) PIPER: In the picture ... you're just a blur. (She shows the family portrait with a blurry Leo.) But you know what? What the heck? I'm gonna hang it anyway. Better than nothing. (Piper takes the framed photo and heads out of the kitchen. Leo follows her.) [INT. MANOR - DINING ROOM / STAIRS - NIGHT - CONTINUOUS] (Leo tries to explain.) LEO: I couldn't say no. It was important. (Piper heads up the stairs.) PIPER: Yeah, and so is Paige's dinner date tonight with Kyle, so if you're done being errand boy for the Elders, can you give the kids a bath? Because I need to finish her dinner. (She removes a framed photo from the wall and hands it to Leo. Piper hangs her photo on the wall.) LEO: They want us to protect a demon. PIPER: They want us to do what? LEO: They want us to protect a demon just until, uh -- PIPER: Yeah. No, I heard you the first time, and the answer is absolutely not. This is how things spiral out of control! (Piper brushes past Leo and heads back down the stairs.) CUT TO: [INT. MANOR - 2ND FLOOR BATHROOM / HALLWAY -- NIGHT] (Paige is standing in front of the full-length mirror checking herself when Phoebe rushes up behind her holding out another blouse.) PHOEBE: So I think you should wear this green top. It's really cute. You could wear it with jeans, and you'll be comfy, and he'll be comfy. (Paige struggles with the zipper.) PAIGE: I'm dressed. I am not changing. Go away. PHOEBE: I know. But, honey, don't you think that's a little much for a house date? I mean, he's gonna walk in the door and wanna throw you down on the floor. PAIGE: Exactly. PHOEBE: All right. But look at this one. It's sparkly. It's soft. It's cashmere. PAIGE: I already have butterflies in my stomach, honey. I just--I don't need Cupid fluttering around me also. PHOEBE: You really do look beautiful. Here. Let me get this for you. (Phoebe zips Paige up.) PAIGE: Thank you. PHOEBE: I cannot believe that I have hooked up so many couples in this town, and does my own sister listen to me? No. (Paige touches up her make-up.) PAIGE: I took your advice and made a "home cooked meal," even though I can't cook. PHOEBE: Yeah. Minor detail. The point is, you'll be home. You'll be on your turf. You don't have to talk about Avatar stuff. (She sighs.) PAIGE: I hope that's all that's holding him back. PHOEBE: Oh, honey, he's a workaholic. I mean, there's chemistry between you guys, right? PAIGE: There is so much chemistry, I feel like I'm ... PHOEBE: Okay, you know what? I don't need to hear how you feel. (They giggle.) PHOEBE: This is gonna work out because it's too good for it not to. PAIGE: You think so? PHOEBE: Yes, I do. (Paige puts her brush down and walks out of the bathroom. Phoebe follows her.) PHOEBE: But just to make sure, I'd wear the green top. PAIGE: Enough with the green shirt. (Paige stops when she sees The Seer in the hallway at the base of the stairs to the attic.) SEER: You're right. He'll love what you have on. PHOEBE: Paige! Demon! No active power! Do something! PAIGE: Mirror! (The Seer turns and sees the mirror orb off the far wall and reorb in front of her. She pulls back and watches as the mirror flies past her and hit the opposite wall. The mirror breaks as it falls to the floor.) SEER: Is that my bad luck or yours? (Paige looks around and sees the ... PAIGE: Plant! SEER: Aah! Leo, a little help, please! (The Seer runs down the hallway to the first floor stairs.) PHOEBE: (puzzled) Did she just call for Leo? (Phoebe and Paige follow her.) CUT TO: [INT. MANOR - DINING ROOM - DAY -- CONTINUOUS] (Piper takes off her apron as she walks out of the kitchen into the Dining Room.) PIPER: There is a demon in the attic, and you didn't tell me? LEO: I tried, but you wouldn't let me. PIPER: Oh, sure. Blame me. (Piper looks up and sees the Seer running down the stairs.) PIPER: Good god. (Piper raises her hands to blast the Seer, when Leo 'accidentally' nudges Piper so she misses. The Seer ducks.) PIPER: Aah! (The blast hits the family Portrait on the wall. Piper falls flat on her face on the floor from Leo's 'nudge'.) PIPER: Unh! (The Seer stands up and sees the black scorch marks on the wall. She runs down the stairs and hides behind Leo peering over his shoulder at Piper. Piper gets to her feet.) (Phoebe and Paige appear at the top of the stairs.) PIPER: What is your problem? Are you crazy? LEO: Hold your fire. I brought her here. We need to protect her. She has information that we need. PHOEBE: I don't think so. Piper, are you okay? (Phoebe and Paige head down the stairs and joins the others.) PAIGE: Okay. Kyle's coming tonight. There will be no demons in this house. PIPER: Not any night. SEER: (to Leo) That surly one is your wife? PIPER: "Surly." Do you know her? PAIGE: Who cares? Just blow her up! LEO: You can't. PIPER: Watch me. SEER: Fine. Kill me. Who cares if I have enough to kill all upper-level demons? LEO: I really think you should hear her out. SEER: Especially after hunky guy here went to all that trouble to rescue me from those demons. PIPER: Ah. PHOEBE: So, wait. Are you telling me the Elders are getting us to save demons from other demons? PIPER: Unbelievable. LEO: It's not what you think. The demons don't want her working with us. We just have to protect her until ... (The doorbell rings.) PAIGE: Okay. That's Kyle. Get upstairs! (The Seer heads for the stairs and pauses next to Paige.) SEER: Relax. Relax. Everything's gonna be great, and later, everything's gonna be really, really great. (She chuckles knowingly, then heads upstairs. Phoebe follows her, rushing her up.) PAIGE: (smiles) Really? SEER: (to Phoebe) Hey! Easy with the goods, there, sister. (calls down to Paige) Just don't let him eat the eggplant! PIPER: What? What's wrong with my eggplant?! (Paige opens the front door.) PAIGE: Hi. (He walks in with a bouquet of white roses.) KYLE BRODY: Hey. You, uh, you look beautiful. (She takes the flowers from him and closes the front door.) PAIGE: Thank you. KYLE BRODY: You're welcome. CUT TO: [INT. UNDERWORLD -- CAVERN] (A group of various demons gather together to discuss what to do with the Seer.) THRULL DEMON: She's a traitor! VULTURE DEMON: The Seer must die! SWARM KING: Strike faster! (The group of demons start shouting.) SHAPESHIFTER: Death to the Seer! THRULL DEMON: Quiet! (The group of demons quiet down.) THRULL DEMON: The Seer is protected by The Charmed Ones now. We'll never get to her before she sells us out. We have no choice but to release Zankou. VULTURE DEMON: No! Zankou can never be freed. SWARM KING: She's right. The Source banished him for good reasons. He's too powerful. VOICE: He'll control us all! THRULL DEMON: We need his powers to go up against the witches. SHOUTER DEMON: What the Seer tells them will destroy us all. She must be stopped, or we'll die. I say free Zankou. (The Swarm King throws a fireball at The Thrull Demon standing in the front. The Thrull Demon explodes.) SHOUTER DEMON: Or not. (The Swarm King stands up in front of the group.) SWARM KING: Anyone else afraid to go up against The Charmed Ones? (The demons nervously look around at each other.) CUT TO: [INT. MANOR - DINING ROOM -- NIGHT] (The candles are lit and dinner has been eaten. Paige walks into the dining room carrying in a dish.) KYLE BRODY: So, not only do you run a school and battle demons, you cook, too? PAIGE: (hesitates) Well, actually, I, uh ... would you like some eggplant? KYLE BRODY: Um, actually, no, I - I can't. I'm allergic to eggplant. (Paige looks at the eggplant as she remembers the Seer's warning.) PAIGE: Really? Interesting. KYLE BRODY: Besides, I'm stuffed. It was really great, though. I can't remember the last time I had a home-cooked meal like this. PAIGE: Well, I'm glad we put a stop to that. So, I like you. You like me. I really don't see what the big problem is. KYLE BRODY: Wow. You just say whatever pops into your mind, huh? PAIGE: And you're avoiding the question. KYLE BRODY: Well, I don't really know how to answer it. PAIGE: Okay. Just ... why don't you just tell me what's on your mind? KYLE BRODY: Okay. Do you remember a while ago, I, um ... I told you I didn't have any secrets? PAIGE: Please tell me you're not married. KYLE BRODY: No, no, no, no. It's nothing like that. It's more like ... Paige, I don't want you to be disappointed in me. PAIGE: What if ... I told you I did not cook this meal? (He chuckles.) KYLE BRODY: You didn't, huh? PAIGE: No. I can't cook. I talked Piper into doing it for me. Do you hate me? KYLE BRODY: No. No, I don't. (Kyle leans forward and they kiss.) (The doorbell rings ... and they continue kissing.) (Phoebe rushes down the stairs.) PHOEBE: Don't mind me. As you were. (She rushes to answer the door.) (Paige looks up.) PAIGE: I think maybe we should go upstairs. (Paige and Kyle stand up to go upstairs.) [INT. MANOR - FRONT PORCH/FOYER - NIGHT - CONTINUOUS] (Phoebe opens the front door and finds Darryl on the porch.) PHOEBE: Darryl, hey. Now is not really a good time -- Not that I'm not glad to see you. (She chuckles nervously. Behind her, Paige and Kyle head upstairs.) (Darryl steps into the house.) DARRYL MORRIS: Listen, um, I'm here about Inspector Sheridan, Phoebe ... and what I think he did to her. (He looks upstairs and points.) PHOEBE: Okay, well, what -- what's going on? Did you find her? DARRYL MORRIS: No, and when I confronted Brody on it, he said that she jumped to a top secret task force, and that's why there's no record. PHOEBE: So that's it, right? DARRYL MORRIS: No. There's always a record somewhere. So I looked for something that maybe you could scry with. PHOEBE: And? DARRYL MORRIS: Listen. Her apartment, her records, her files, all have been cleaned out. It's like it was a professional job. Someone does not want me to find her. And I think that someone just went upstairs with your sister. PHOEBE: Forget happy endings. We can't even have a happy beginning. (Darryl takes out a pen.) DARRYL MORRIS: Look ... I found this jammed behind Sheridan's desk. I mean, it's a long shot. But, you know, if she used it ... (Phoebe takes the pen from Darryl and looks at it.) PHOEBE: I'll see what I can do. CUT TO: [INT. MANOR - ATTIC -- NIGHT] (Leo puts a crystal down on the floor around the Seer and Piper. The Seer is lounged on a couch while Piper sits in a chair with a notebook taking down the Seer's demands.) SEER: Oh, and, um, can you get me one of those cute little scrunchie-faced dogs? A shar-pei, I think they're called. Oh, I always wanted a pet. Oh, and if you could throw in a lap pool, oh, that would be great. LEO: You know, you might wanna narrow it down to your top ten demands. SEER: Hey. I've got something you want. Okay? And the minute I spill my guts, I have no more bargaining chips. So I'm milking it for all I can. PIPER: Were the boys okay when you left? LEO: Yes. Miss Donovan was reading to them. SEER: (to Piper) Did you get the shar-pei down? PIPER: (ignores her) You know, 'cause Chris has that rash and Wyatt's been a little cranky. LEO: They're fine. I don't know why you worried so much. We leave 'em there all the time. PIPER: Exactly. They spend more time at magic school lately than they do at home. SEER: (to Leo) She's right, you know. PIPER: (pointedly to the Seer) You stay out of it. LEO: Look, I don't wanna leave 'em there any more than you do. But we need to take care of this before the demons attack. SEER: On that note, let's move this along, shall we? PIPER: See? It's just endless. I'm never gonna be able to spend any real time with my kids while we're single-handedly trying to rid the world of demons. SEER: Hello? I'm a demon you can get rid of. Preferably before I'm ambushed again. (Piper finishes the list. Leo walks into the crystal circle to take the list from Piper.) PIPER: Okay, here's her list. Go see what the Elders have to say. (He looks at the list.) SEER: Hold on there, Sugar. I've got one more thing I'd like to add to that list, and it's something only the Elders can give ... and it's a deal-breaker. I wanna be made human. PIPER: What? Why in the hell would a powerful demon want to be made human? SEER: "Hell" being the operative word, as in, "I live there, and it sucks." PIPER: You know what? I don't think you know anything. I think it's all just one big scam. How do we have any proof? (The Seer turns and looks to the side just as three demons shimmer into the attic. The Swarm King leads the pack.) SWARM KING: Hello, beautiful. (He throws a fireball at the Seer, scraping her on the arm. She smoulders and falls over the chair. She hides behind it.) (Leo fires streams of electricity at the Swarm King. He explodes. The Seer looks at the burn on her arm.) SEER: Ow! (Piper ducks behind the couch near the Seer. Leo blasts the remaining two demons.) SEER: I can't believe I slept with that guy. (Three more demons shimmer into the attic in a second wave of attacks.) PIPER: (to the Seer) Okay, apparently the cage is not working so great for you. So just stay down! (Piper stands up just as a demon throws a fireball at Leo. He turns and the fireball misses him, hitting the back wall. Piper waves her hands and blasts the demons in front of them.) [INT. MANOR - SECOND FLOOR HALLWAY - NIGHT -- CONTINUOUS] (Phoebe turns the corner on her way to the attic. She finds Paige leaving her bedroom.) PHOEBE: How's it going in there? PAIGE: Not loving the demon interruptus. (They both head upstairs to the attic. Kyle watches them go. He looks up as a loud crash sounds through the ceiling.) [INT. MANOR - ATTIC - NIGHT -- CONTINUOUS] (The fight continues in the attic. Paige walks in just as the last demon explodes.) (The Seer glances at her burn on her arm and stands up. She looks at Piper.) SEER: Is that proof enough for ya, Sweetie? FADE OUT. (COMMERCIAL SET) FADE IN. [INT. MANOR - ATTIC - NIGHT -- CONTINUOUS] (Piper is kneeling down in front of some broken baby furniture. She sighs and stands up.) PIPER: Well, I guess Chris won't be using this. I gotta stop trying to keep anything nice in this house. (Leo is checking on the Seer's wound.) SEER: Ouch! You know, that hurts. PIPER: Yeah, well, get used to it. 'Cause if this is a setup ... LEO: This is not a setup. PAIGE: Can someone please just remind me why, uh ... we are protecting a demon? (Leo removes his tie and tosses it aside.) PIPER: Well, apparently, she's selling out all of her buddies. So we're doing the witness protection thing. You know, if you want us to make a deal with the Elders to make you human, I think you need to give us something. PAIGE: Wait! Back up. Did you say "human"? SEER: I know. I know. I wouldn't actually have a soul. But I could live with that. PHOEBE: This is so weird. (Paige stands up.) PAIGE: Okay, and also a waste of my time. Because I was in the middle of something. (She turns and heads back to the attic door. The Seer stands up and stops her.) SEER: Okay, okay, fine. I'll give you something. A little ... enticement. (Paige motions for her to hurry up.) PAIGE: Bated breath. SEER: Okay, sure. I have a little black Book of Demons. But I also have the skinny on a little thing called ... the Avatars. (Everyone is suddenly very interested.) LEO: (cautiously) What do you know about the Avatars? (From the hallway, Kyle appears and makes his way into the attic having overheard what the Seer just said.) KYLE BRODY: Yeah. What do you know about 'em? SEER: (to Paige) Oh. Didn't I tell you he'd like the dress? PAIGE: Stop doing that. (Kyle walks into the attic and stands next to Paige.) KYLE BRODY: Can we get back to the Avatars, please? SEER: I know that they're close ... closer than you think. Could be here any minute. (Kyle backs up and rushes out of the attic. Alarmed, Paige rushes after him.) PAIGE: Uh ... Kyle. (They both leave the attic.) PHOEBE: Okay, pow-wow. Pow-wow. Let's go. (Piper and Leo join Phoebe. The Seer also walks over to them as they leave the attic.) PHOEBE: (to the Seer) Not you. You stay here. (The Seer stops.) [INT. MANOR - STAIRS TO SECOND FLOOR HALLWAY - NIGHT - CONTINUOUS] (Piper, Leo and Phoebe walk down the attic stairs.) PHOEBE: Okay. Here's what I don't get. Why does the Seer want to be human if the Avatars are so close? PIPER: Yeah, you'd think she'd want to be evil if evil was about to take over. LEO: Unless the Avatars are good. PHOEBE: Yeah, right. Is that possible? PIPER: Either way, I just need her gone, and I want my boys home. (to Leo) So why don't you go up to the Elders and see if you can make a deal? PHOEBE: Meantime, I'll stay with the Seer. Since we have similar powers, maybe I can tap into hers and find out what she really knows. PIPER: Good. Go. (Phoebe and Piper both leave Leo alone. He sighs.) LEO: (quietly) You've put me in an awkward position. (Alpha, Beta and Gamma appear in the bedroom. Leo sees them and lingers in the doorway.) LEO: Why didn't you tell me I was rescuing a demon? GAMMA (AVATAR): There wasn't time. She was about to be killed. BETA (AVATAR): Besides, we couldn't take the chance that you would say no. Too much is at stake. LEO: You're taking an even bigger risk by parking a demon in the house. ALPHA (AVATAR): We know it's dangerous, Leo. But we're at a crossroads. GAMMA (AVATAR): Agent Brody is a threat we didn't count on. He has the means to destroy us and the passion to turn them against us. ALPHA (AVATAR): We're taking a calculated risk in the hopes of guiding the sisters toward the right road. LEO: This isn't calculated. It's foolhardy. The Seer's unpredictable. She'd out me in a heartbeat. BETA (AVATAR): Except she thinks you're just an Elder since she sent her message to them. We simply intercepted it. LEO: She'll see through me. GAMMA (AVATAR): She won't if you get her what she wants quickly. Make the deal. LEO: Think about it, Leo. With her power, she can literally show the sisters our future, help them to understand what we're offering in a way no one else can. Not even you. CUT TO: [INT. UNDERWORLD -- CAVERN] (The demons remaining in the cavern wait for the others to return.) SHOUTER DEMON: They should be back by now. VULTURE DEMON: They're dead. The witches killed them. SHAPESHIFTER: Yeah, well, we'll all be dead soon if we don't pull out all the stops. VULTURE DEMON: And what stops are you pulling out, Shapeshifter? [Laughs] VULTURE DEMON: You're a coward with no power. SHAPESHIFTER: I'm just saying. SHOUTER DEMON: I'm telling you, we should release Zankou. VULTURE DEMON: No way. CUT TO: [EXT. HALLIWELL MANOR (STOCK) - NIGHT] [INT. MANOR - ATTIC - NIGHT] (While waiting for them to return, the Seer looks through a photo album with pictures of Wyatt inside. The pages are singed.) (Phoebe returns to the attic with a potions vial in her hand.) SEER: You know, you girls really should take better care of your things. There are some singed pages here. PHOEBE: Well, you should tell your demon friends to be more careful when they attack next. (Phoebe puts the potions vial on the table. The Seer goes back to looking through the album.) SEER: (wistfully) Look at this. You're like a family, and there's, like, pictures of fun times and stuff. (Phoebe points to a photo.) PHOEBE: Look at Wyatt. That's his first birthday. (She casually touches the Seer's hand.) SEER: (smiling) Yeah. PHOEBE: Are those my earrings? SEER: Yeah. Sorry. They called out to me. (Phoebe touches the earrings - and the Seer's ear - still not getting a premonition.) SEER: You're so close, and - and - and you like each other, and you're happy, and ... (Phoebe puts her hand on the Seer's shoulder. She closes her eyes, trying to get a premonition.) PHOEBE: ... "happy and"? SEER: And could you push a little harder on that right shoulder? If you're not gonna get a premonition, you could at least work out that knot. PHOEBE: (busted) Can't blame a girl for trying, you know? SEER: Hey, when I first started getting my visions, I had to touch people, too. Phone. PHOEBE: Hmm? SEER: Phone. (Phoebe's phone rings.) PHOEBE: Oh, phone! You're good. (She answers it. The Seer goes back to looking through the photo album with pictures of Leo, Piper and the baby.) PHOEBE: (to phone) Hello? Uh, Darryl, now's not really a good time again. Let me call you back? All right. (Phoebe hangs up.) PHOEBE: I mean, not that I'm okay with you stealing my stuff, but those earrings really do look amazing on you. Then again, what wouldn't? SEER: You know, Sugar, much as I enjoy the flattery and the bonding and even the touching, you're not getting anything out of me until you make me human. PHOEBE: Okay. I get it. But what I don't get is why you want to be human. I mean, did the bad stuff just start to get to you after a while? SEER: No. The good stuff did. In my line of work, I see a lot and good and bad, and the good's just better. Problem is, I can see it, but I can't feel it. PHOEBE: That's the thing about Vision. It's a blessing and a curse. SEER: Yep. You know, being a demon is about feeding the endless emptiness, and - (sighs) -- I'm sick of it. I long for the ... the subtle notes in-between. PHOEBE: And the Avatars have something to do with that, right? I'm just not sure what. (She looks at the Seer.) Right. Bargaining chip. SEER: Look, it's not like I'm being tight-lipped and mean for no reason. I can't give you what you want, or I won't get what I want. (She reads Phoebe.) SEER: I see. You're not even sure I have anything you want. PHOEBE: Look, I want to trust you. I really do. But ... you're a demon. SEER: How 'bout I help you with your other problem instead? You know, the thing with the cop -- uh, Sheridan. If I find her for you, then would you trust me? (Phoebe considers it. She takes out the pen and hands it to the Seer. The Seer smiles at her and takes the pen.) (She closes her eyes.) CUT TO: [INT. KYLE'S APARTMENT (#6) - NIGHT] (Kyle is reaching up into the closet ceiling and removes a briefcase.) PAIGE: What the hell are you doing? KYLE BRODY: Unh. We're wasting time. (He takes the suitcase out.) KYLE BRODY: We should've orbed in. PAIGE: Well, yeah. That's why I drove, thinking maybe it'd give you time to chill out a little. (He puts the case down on the bed and opens it. In the center of the case is the vial with the potion to destroy the Avatars.) KYLE BRODY: Look, if the Avatars are on the way like the Seer says, we've gotta be prepared. (He takes out the vial.) PAIGE: Ok, what the hell is that? You're kind of freaking me out. KYLE BRODY: It's why the Avatars killed my parents. It's a vanquishing potion that kills them. PAIGE: I didn't know one existed. KYLE BRODY: Neither did they. They didn't even know what they found. All they knew was that this ancient civilization fought off this great power with it. The Avatars went into retreat -- till now. PAIGE: Well, I think that's great. Now you have the potion, we know where it is, and, uh, we can just put it away and bring it out if we need it. KYLE BRODY: Paige, I have spent my entire life preparing for this moment when I can finally meet them face to face. PAIGE: Look, you have to let my sisters and I help. This is what we do. (Paige pushes the case aside and sits down on the bed.) PAIGE: I know you've had a lot of pain. Okay? One potion is not gonna fix everything. Would you please just let us help you? KYLE BRODY: No. This is my fight. You don't know what I've had to do to get this far. PAIGE: What do you mean? KYLE BRODY: I told you. I've ... I've done some things that I'm not very proud of. PAIGE: We all have. (They kiss.) CUT TO: [INT. MAGIC SCHOOL - GREAT HALL -- NIGHT] (Leo talks with Odin.) ODIN: We don't negotiate with demons. LEO: Well, she could give us everything we need to go after every upper-level demon. ODIN: In exchange for making her human? I don't think so. We have more pressing concerns than demons, like the Avatars. LEO: She might know something about them, too. ODIN: What does she know? LEO: She's cagey. But I get the feeling that she might have foreseen something about them. ODIN: Well. Then that might be worth bargaining for. But we need to know what she knows first. Then, and only then, will we see about giving her what she wants. (Odin orbs out. Leo turns and leaves.) CUT TO: [EXT. HAWKBROOK MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY - COURTYARD -- DAY] (Darryl waits for Phoebe. He glances at his watch. The Seer shimmers Phoebe and herself into the arched hallway area behind Darryl.) PHOEBE: Darryl. DARRYL MORRIS: You're late. (Darryl turns around and sees the Seer.) DARRYL MORRIS: Who is this? PHOEBE: Uh, The Seer. (Phoebe introduces them. Quickly.) PHOEBE: Seer, Darryl. Darryl, Seer. Let's see if Sheridan's here, shall we? (Phoebe turns and heads for the main building. Darryl rushes in front of her to stop her.) DARRYL MORRIS: Whoa, hold -- hold on a second here. You really think after all this time I wouldn't recognize a demon? I can't believe you brought a demon. PHOEBE: Actually, she brought me. SEER: Go easy on him. His wife's had him sleeping on the couch all week. DARRYL MORRIS: How does she know that? PHOEBE: Seer. Get it? She sees things. She's perfectly harmless and actually very good at what she does. I can't hold a candle to her. SEER: Oh, that's so sweet ... and so not true. (to Darryl) And don't worry. She'll get over it. Just bring her some of that marzipan that she likes. DARRYL MORRIS: You think -- You mean, like, the little fruit? (He stops himself.) I can't believe I'm -- I'm listening to a demon. PHOEBE: Don't be rude. She found this place. Let's go. (Phoebe and the Seer head for the main building.) DARRYL MORRIS: What a fool I was thinking that this crazy-ass stuff wouldn't happen anymore like--like this. (He points to the Seer who has taken a short detour and is walking on the grass. She spreads her arms out open wide and raises her face to the sun as she spins around in circles.) PHOEBE: I know. It's why you don't hang out with us anymore. But you got to admit it -- you sort of miss it, don't ya? DARRYL MORRIS: Phoebe ... what is your demon friend doing? (Phoebe rushes to her and grabs her hand.) PHOEBE: Uh-oh. Okay. There's plenty of time for this when you're human. SEER: Oh, come on. Take off your shoes and let me feel the grass through you. PHOEBE: Yeah. We gotta get back before Leo does. Otherwise, he'll flip. (Phoebe leads the Seer up to the main building. Phoebe turns around and looks back at Darryl.) PHOEBE: You coming, Darryl? [INT. HAWKBROOK MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY- LOBBY / ROOM -- DAY -- CONTINUOUS] (They walk into the main lobby.) SEER: What kind of place is this? PHOEBE: It's a mental hospital. SEER: Oh, whoa. I've never seen this side of good in my visions before. It's so ... bad. PHOEBE: Yeah. Well, there's a downside to being able to feel things sometimes. SEER: Well, I'd still take good that's not always good over bad that's never good. PHOEBE: Somehow, I know exactly what you mean. SEER: Yeah. I'd try that one. (She points to a door.) (Darryl tries the door and finds it unlocked. Inside is an office complete with desk and computer. Across the office is another closed door.) (Darryl heads for the door. Phoebe shrugs at the Seer. She indicates the closed door.) SEER: There's more. (Phoebe heads for the door. Darryl opens the door. He's found her.) DARRYL MORRIS: It's Sheridan. (Phoebe steps into the room. Inside, she finds Inspector Sheridan in a coma hooked up to an IV. Darryl goes to check on her as she reaches for her cell phone.) PHOEBE: Oh, my god. DARRYL MORRIS: I told you Brody did something to her. (She calls Paige.) PHOEBE: Paige, please pick up the phone. Pick up the phone. CUT TO: [INT. BRODY'S APARTMENT - BEDROOM - DAY] (In the forefront, Paige's cell phone vibrates on the table. In the background, Paige is in bed with Brody.) FADE OUT. (COMMERCIAL SET) FADE IN. [INT. MANOR - STAIRS/MAIN HALL / DINING ROOM -- DAY] (Phoebe rushes down the stairs after Leo. The Seer follows them.) PHOEBE: Leo, we need to get Paige away from Kyle before she ends up in a coma, too. (He turns and walks into the Dining Room.) LEO: You know, I just can't get over the fact that you were crazy enough to take the Seer out of the house. PHOEBE: Well, I need to find out if she was dating a madman, and I did, and she is. So please, Leo, you need to go get her. LEO: You know, you could've waited for me, and I could've taken her. (Phoebe sighs.) SEER: I came back, didn't I? LEO: Because you need us. PHOEBE: And because she likes us. LEO: Okay, are you two buddy-buddies starting to read each other? SEER: What are you afraid of, anyway? That I'm gonna tell her your dirty little secret? LEO: What makes you think I have any secrets? (The Seer gives Leo a look. On that he interprets correctly - she knows. Phoebe draws their attention back to what needs to be done.) PHOEBE: Hey, you guys, Paige is in danger. We have to get Piper out of magic school so we can get Paige out of Kyle's apartment, please. Please. LEO: Okay. But don't ... go anywhere ... and make sure these potions are near you. Okay? (He gives her the potion vial.) She's no good to us dead. (He points at them both.) And don't make me come back and separate you. (Leo orbs out of the dining room.) (Phoebe goes to the drawer to get a pouch to put the potions bottles into while the Seer sits on the edge of the dining room table.) PHOEBE: So ... okay, so if the Avatars are bad, wouldn't it be safer for you just to stay a demon? SEER: You're wondering if hubby is wrong about the avatars. PHOEBE: Yeah. I mean, is it possible that they're good? Is it really possible? SEER: It's a smart question ... one I'm sure to answer for you once I get my lap pool and the ability to feel. (Phoebe puts the potions bottles in the pouch.) PHOEBE: Fine. But ... first you're gonna have to I.D. some of your demon buddies for me. CUT TO: [INT. UNDERWORLD -- CAVERN] (A small group of demons walks into a lower cavern. The Shapeshifter, the Shouter Demon, the Vulture Demon and a Demon Wizard all head toward the center of the lower cavern.) SHAPESHIFTER: We could be making a huge mistake here. SHOUTER DEMON: We don't have a choice. (They stop in front of protruding mount of hollow dirt with an opening much like a mini-volcano. The opening is blocked by a bluish-white beam of magic and swirling particles that swarm like bees.) (The Demon Wizard takes his stick and holds it against the mini-volcano as he shouts the incantation to set the banished demon free.) (He sighs.) DEMON WIZARD: (commands) Lexonero bestia! Lexonero! (The light keeping the particles trapped over the ground disappears. Freed, the swarming particles circle around the cavern where it finally congeals and solidifies into Zankou.) (He takes a deep, long breath.) ZANKOU: Finally. (The other demons in the room bow to him. The Vulture Demon is wary of his mere presence and the decision to bring him back.) ZANKOU: Too bad The Source isn't still alive. I owe him for this. (He looks over his shoulder.) ZANKOU: One of you was against freeing me. Who was it? VULTURE DEMON: It was me. I figured The Source incarcerated you for a reason ... because you're too dangerous. ZANKOU: I like an honest demon. Now, where's The Seer? SHOUTER DEMON: You know about...? ZANKOU: I could sense it all from my prison. I even know about the Avatars. SHOUTER DEMON: The demonic forces await your word. ZANKOU: A legion won't get past The Charmed Ones. But a Shapeshifter might. SHAPESHIFTER: I--I'm a shapeshifter. ZANKOU: (smiles) Good! Good. (Zankou smiles and puts his arm around the Shapeshifter pulling him away from the others. The Shapeshifter smiles at finding himself in Zankou's good graces.) ZANKOU: (chuckles) Good. (Zankou impales his hand clear into the Shapeshifter's chest completely absorbing the Shapeshifter's powers as the Shapeshifter is vanquished in a puff of smoke, fire and flames. The golden glow of the Shapeshifter's power moves into Zankou.) ZANKOU: Now I'm one, too. CUT TO: [INT. BRODY'S APARTMENT (#6) -- DAY] (Kyle opens the door and finds Piper and Leo out in the hallway.) KYLE BRODY: Piper. Leo. Come in. (Paige steps out from the backroom wearing Kyle's dress shirt.) PAIGE: Hey. Guys. What's up? PIPER: (mumbles) Oh. So much for breaking it to her before it's too late. (louder) Uh ... what's up is, uh, that ... you know how Morris was looking into how maybe Sheridan ... tell 'em, Leo. LEO: Phoebe and Morris found Sheridan in a mental institution. She was in a coma, and we believe you put her there. (He looks at Kyle. Kyle glances sideways at Paige. Paige brushes it off and casually goes to the refrigerator.) PAIGE: Yeah. I actually know. Kyle told me. PIPER: (confused) You know? And you're okay with this? (Paige takes out a bottle of water, closes the refrigerator door and walks over to stand by Kyle's side.) PAIGE: Well, um ... we all do things we're not proud of sometimes. Right, Leo? LEO: I think that's a little different. He shot an innocent. KYLE BRODY: With a tranq-dart. PIPER: Then put her in a coma. PAIGE: He did that to help. To help us. She was gonna expose us. KYLE BRODY: Look, guys, it's just temporary. Okay? She's completely safe. And I will bring her out of it, right after the Avatar threat's over with. LEO: After losing a chunk of her life? PAIGE: You of all people should understand the sacrifice. Whatever he's done is to try to help rid the world of evil. LEO: It appears to me that he's the evil, not the Avatars. KYLE BRODY: What, are you insane? Of course they're evil. Leo, they killed my parents. PIPER: Okay. Uh ... this is gonna take a while to figure out. So why don't you get dressed so we can go. PAIGE: I'm not gonna go, Piper. I'm staying here. (Piper says nothing. Leo orbs Piper out of the apartment.) PAIGE: (sighs) That went swimmingly. (Kyle kisses her temple.) SEER: (v.o.) Okay. Furies ... CUT TO: [INT. MANOR - DINING ROOM - DAY] (Phoebe is going through the Book of Shadows with the Seer allowing the Seer to comment on the various demons listed inside.) SEER: Toxic. Emphasis on "ick" ... hate me. (Phoebe turns the page.) SEER: Oh. The grimlocks ... Emphasis on the "grim" ... hate me. PHOEBE: Okay, so what I'm gathering is pretty much every demon in this book hates you? SEER: Pretty much. Which is sad because they're my family. Well, I mean, it would be sad if I had feelings. PHOEBE: Well, don't worry. I'm gonna put something in the spell about that. SEER: Thanks. You really care about what happens to me, don't you? PHOEBE: Yeah, I do ... I guess. (The Seer sits down.) SEER: That's nice. I like that. (They share a smile.) (Leo and Piper orb back into the Conservatory.) PHOEBE: Hey ... where's Paige? PIPER: She stayed with Kyle. PHOEBE: What?! Even after you told her? LEO: We didn't get a chance to. Kyle beat us to the punch. PIPER: And apparently she's okay with it. PHOEBE: (upset) Yeah, well, you know what? I am not okay with it. (Phoebe slams the Book closed.) PIPER: Well, neither am I. But first things first. We need to get this little demon creature out of the house. LEO: We need to get the information about the Avatars so I can use it as leverage against the Elders. SEER: You know my terms. PIPER: Your terms are ridiculous. LEO: Look, what if I personally guarantee you get what you want? SEER: Oh, I'm supposed to trust you now? (She snickers.) PIPER: What is with you two? SEER: Look, all I know is the Avatars are a powerful force, and your secret weapon is locked in here. (She taps her temple with the tip of her finger.) PIPER: Uhh! Phoebe, would you please speak to her? PHOEBE: Okay. (to the Seer) Remember how you said that you can sense that I care about you? SEER: Mm-hmm. PHOEBE: Well, I can sense that you care about me, too. So, please. Give me the information that we need. SEER: I can't tell you. But I can show you. (She holds out her hands. Phoebe glances over at Piper and Leo, then hesitantly places her hands on the Seer's to receive the vision.) (A bright white glow shines where their hands touch. Piper watches Phoebe carefully. Phoebe's eyes are closed and she starts to smile.) PIPER: Phoebe? (Phoebe is obviously pleased by what she sees.) [EXT. CURBSIDE - FRONT OF SCHOOL - DAY - PHOEBE'S VISION] (School is over and Phoebe waits outside for the kids.) (An older Wyatt, Chris and a little girl run over to her.) WYATT: Hi, Aunt Phoebe. PHOEBE: Hi, Wyatt. (to Chris) Hi, big guy. LITTLE GIRL: Mommy! Mommy! (The little girl runs into Phoebe's arms. Phoebe scoops her up and spins her around.) PHOEBE: Whoo! Hi! What are you doing, my little lady bug? LITTLE GIRL: Mommy, Chris was scaring me about the demons again. PHOEBE: Chris, it's not nice to tease. What did I tell you about the demons? They don't exist anymore. Not since the Avatars. WHITE FLASH TO END OF PHOEBE'S VISION (Phoebe is smiling.) PIPER: She's smiling. Right? That's good. SEER: (explains) She's seeing Utopia: No demons ... beyond good and evil. (Suddenly the Seer gasps and pulls her hands away from Phoebe.) WHITE FLASH TO: [INT. UNDERWORLD - CAVE - PHOEBE'S VISION] (The Seer runs into the cave. Zankou steps into the cave in front of her blocking her escape. The Seer turns around and tries to escape the way she came, but there is no out.) (She's trapped.) ZANKOU: You betrayed me. And now you pay. (Zankou zaps the Seer with the particle beads that swirl around her, attacking her much like a swarm of bees. It surrounds her until she explodes.) (End of Vision. Resume to present.) (Phoebe gasps out of the vision, her eyes on the Seer who is horrified by seeing her own death.) PIPER: (concerned) What? What was it? What happened? (Phoebe glances over at Piper.) PHOEBE: I saw the most beautiful thing ever ... (She turns and looks sadly at the Seer.) PHOEBE: ... and the most terrible. FADE OUT. (COMMERCIAL SET) FADE IN. [EXT. HALLIWELL MANOR (STOCK) - DAY] [INT. MANOR - SITTING ROOM -- DAY] (The Seer walks into the Sitting Room. The others follow her.) SEER: Now you know why I'm doing this. PHOEBE: Yeah. With no demons in the future, you'd be extinct. SEER: If I even get to that future, which, if Zankou has his way, I won't. (She sits down on the couch.) LEO: But let's keep in mind that the future's volatile. Okay? The choices me make, the things we do ... could change it. What you saw may never happen. PHOEBE: But if the good part of what I saw can happen, that would be great, because it was incredible. I was so happy and calm and peaceful, and my little girl ... oh, gosh, she was so cute. SEER: Yeah. Not normally big on the rug rats, but she was cute. PHOEBE: Now I'm even more worried about Paige. Kyle wants to destroy something that could potentially be really great. PIPER: Okay, hang on a second. We don't know any of this for sure, and even you made the Avatar future seem threatening. SEER: Well, duh. If I made it sound peachy, you wouldn't have helped me. The fact is, I didn't see anything threatening. How 'bout you, Leo? (Caught off guard, Leo remains quiet.) PIPER: Okay, seriously, what is it with you two? (The Seer stands up.) SEER: Are you gonna tell her, or shall I? I told you I liked a challenge. So what's it gonna be? LEO: Look ... apparently what she has seen ... is that ... I know the Avatars are good ... because I'm an Avatar. PIPER: What?! That's insane! What does that mean? LEO: That means I believe in what they want -- a world beyond good and evil. PHOEBE: Wait. Are you saying that you've been living in our house as an Avatar, and you haven't told us? LEO: Look, I'm the same old Leo. PIPER: Only ... not! Is this how you went from psycho crazy guy to happy-happy guy? Because you became an Avatar? LEO: What changed for me was knowing we could have this life that we always wanted -- a life without demons. You know? They showed me this peaceful world - - happy, like Phoebe saw in her vision. PIPER: The point is not "happy." The point is, why didn't you tell me? LEO: Well, I couldn't tell you until you were ready. Everybody has to come to the truth in their own time. PIPER: Okay, Leo, you know what? Don't guru-talk me, because you are in far too much trouble if you think-- SEER: (interrupts) Okay. Guys, guys, can we just put this on hold for a second? PHOEBE: She's right. This can wait. She can't. I've seen her vanquish, and we have to make her human right now. She held up her end of the deal. Now it's the Elders' turn. LEO: Okay, well, I can't exactly go to the Elders and say, "The Seer saw Utopia." They're not gonna believe me. PHOEBE: No, but they'll believe me. (to the Seer) Piper's gonna help you get your stuff together for your new life. And if I were you, I'd go upstairs and get the dress that matches those earrings, 'cause you're gonna look amazing in it. We'll be right back with the spell. (Leo and Phoebe orb out of the manor. The Seer looks at Piper and smiles sheepishly at her. Piper smiles back.) CUT TO: [INT. MAGIC SCHOOL - GREAT HALL -- DAY] (Odin is sitting on the couch in the Great Hall looking through a book. Leo and Phoebe orb in. Phoebe clears her throat to get his attention.) PHOEBE: Ahem. (He looks up.) ODIN: What is she doing here? (Phoebe steps forward as Odin stands.) PHOEBE: I'm here to give you what you want. ODIN: So. The Seer told you something. LEO: Yes. She told us that the Avatars' future is a Utopia. ODIN: That's not possible. PHOEBE: I've seen it. ODIN: It's gonna take more than that. PHOEBE: That's why I'm here to show it to you. (Phoebe steps forward and holds out her hands to Odin. He places his hands on hers and they glow. Odin's eyes close as he sees the same vision that Phoebe saw before.) [EXT. CURBSIDE - FRONT OF SCHOOL - DAY - PHOEBE'S VISION] (The Little Girl runs into Phoebe's arms. Phoebe swings her around.) PHOEBE: (v.o.) What did I tell you about the demons? They don't exist anymore. PHOEBE: Not since the Avatars. (White flash to end of Vision. Resume to present.) (The vision between them ends. Odin opens his eyes and breaks contact with Phoebe.) ODIN: It's not possible. This must be some sort of trick. PHOEBE: You've seen the vision. Take your time sorting it out. But I will need that spell. ODIN: But this might be all a sham. PHOEBE: Then it's not the Seer's fault. She's just the messenger. But you do have to honor your end of the deal. (Odin looks at Leo.) CUT TO: [INT. MANOR - SECOND FLOOR HALLWAY-- DAY] (Paige orbs into the hallway. Piper steps out of Wyatt's room carrying a large duffle bag. She sees Paige.) PIPER: Oh. Hey. I'm glad you're here. I was worried about you. PAIGE: Oh, I was picking up some clothes. PIPER: Oh. Well, if you're looking for your red winter jacket with the missing button, I, uh, gave it to The Seer. PAIGE: (chuckles) Why? Do demons feel cold? PIPER: Except she won't be a demon anymore. PAIGE: So, the Seer told us something about the Avatars? PIPER: Even better. Because of their shared power, she was able to give Phoebe her vision. PAIGE: How bad was it? PIPER: That's the thing. According to Phoebe, it was good. (Paige snickers.) PAIGE: And you're willing to believe a demon over Kyle. PIPER: I don't believe one way or another. I'm just trying to keep an open mind. PAIGE: Piper! Everything we know about them - everything -- points to them being killers. PIPER: Don't you think that maybe we should explore what they're all about just in case? PAIGE: Explore what?! How 'bout this - Why don't you "explore"? When you find something out, give me a call, because I'll be there to vanquish it with Kyle's potion. Okay? (Paige turns around and stomps off into her room slamming the door behind her.) CUT TO: [INT. MANOR - ATTIC -- DAY] (The Seer is wearing a pink dress and looking at herself in the mirror. Piper walks in with the bag.) PIPER: Hmm. You know, I don't think Phoebe would mind throwing in some shoes. SEER: Oh. Thanks, but I won't need them. Soon as I'm human, I'm hoping your guy will orb me to Golden Gate Park and I can finally run through that grass. PIPER: Have you thought of a name for yourself? SEER: Oh! It's Kyra. It ... always has been. It's just everyone calls me, uh ... The Seer. (She chuckles.) Ok. Honestly, now ... how do I look? I've never worn anything so ... (sighs wistfully) ... Fun. PIPER: Kyra, you look great. SEER: Thanks. (They hear footsteps approaching the attic. They turn and see "Phoebe" walking into the room.) PIPER: Did you get the spell? "PHOEBE": Oh, Leo's got it. He's downstairs trying to convince Paige not to leave. PIPER: Yeah, I know. I already tried. Um ... look, we're kinda pushing it here. The demon could show up any minute, so ... "PHOEBE": Maybe you should get the spell. PIPER: Yeah. (Piper turns and leaves the attic.) "PHOEBE": Hey ... you look really great. SEER: Sure you don't mind me borrowing it? "PHOEBE": No. Not at all. Although I'm much more of a black kind of guy myself. I think it's a lot more appropriate for a funeral. Don't you, Kyra? SEER: Wait. How did you -- ("Phoebe" grabs Kyra by her neck and lifts her up. She then morphs back into Zankou.) ZANKOU: Hello, "Sugar". SEER: Did I call you that ever? What I meant to say was, "Hello, Swirling particles of scum!" ZANKOU: You always were amusing. But still, I can't allow you to betray us all just to save your own ass. (He pushes her back, releasing her neck. He shoots out swirling particles at her. Kyra starts screaming and batting at them as they swirl around her like bees.) ZANKOU: It's good to be back. (Zankou hears orbing. He turns and sees the white orbs and shimmers out of the attic.) (Leo and Phoebe orb into the attic. Piper returns to the attic. Kyra continues to scream and then explodes.) (Piper walks over to where Kyra used to stand. She looks back at Phoebe and Leo.) PIPER: That wasn't you. PHOEBE: That was the demon from my vision. (Piper kneels down and picks up the earrings off the floor. This particular vanquish weighs heavily upon her. It weighs heavily on everyone.) (Piper walks over to them.) PIPER: We can't keep doing this. There's gotta be a better way. PHOEBE: There is a better way. She showed it to me, and it was beautiful. (to Leo) I think I want to meet them. LEO: And I want you to, but ... I think you need a clear mind to do so, and I don't know that now's the right time. PIPER: Now is the best time. (Piper takes her place next to Leo.) LEO: You sure? PIPER: We're sure. (Leo turns and looks at Phoebe. She nods.) PIPER: Call them. (Leo closes his eyes and the other Avatars appear in the attic - Alpha, Beta and Gamma.) PIPER: We're listening.
